Men's Senior Football
Malin Senior team gained promotion to Division One for 2011 after a hard-fought Division 2 2010 campaign culminating in regaining the Sandy Harpur Cup.
Martin Lafferty has taken over as manager from Louis Walsh and is assisted by Danny Lafferty and Terence Colhoun. Malin prepared for the County League by entering the Ulster League where they won all five group games before being defeated in the semi-final by Eskra of Co. Tyrone. The club will be looking forward to some of the traditional strongholds of Donegal football coming to Connolly Park such as St. Eunans, Naomh Conaill and Gweedore.
In the Senior Championship Malin have been drawn against Glenfin in the first round with both teams sure to be eyeing a spot in the second round. Malin will be looking to their experienced players such as Paddy & Anthony Kelly and Damien Ward combined with the more youthful players such as Patrick McColgan and Declan Walsh to lead the team into what is sure to be a rollercoaster season.
Men's Reserve Football
Malin Reserves are once again managed by Paul Martin McDaid, Neil McGilloway and Pat McLaughlin (F). They warmed up for the season with 3 away games against their Inishowen neighbours Carndonagh, Moville and Naomh Padraig, Muff. The management will be hoping to blood some of the young lads from the minor squad into playing adult football where the speed and hits are a step up from under-age competition. Michael & Niall McLaughlin and Brian Doherty will be guiding the young guns through the season. Like the Senior team, the Reserves will be travelling to some of the big name clubs in the county and will be expecting tough challenges from the start with home form sure to be a telling factor in their hopes to having a successful season.
Men's Third Team
The Third team will ensure that all players will get game-time especially a lot of the younger lads and a few of the older generation. This year the team is managed by Sean McLaughlin(Owen).Fixtures 2011
